Security Rep II - The University of Rochester : Job Details

Provides MAG staff and guests with a superior customer service experience while safeguarding the integrity of MAG's exhibitions and irreplaceable art collection. Welcomes staff, guests and vendors and relays information and direction of routine and limited nature. Performs time sensitive rounds to observe and contribute to a safe and secure environment for museum members, guests, volunteers, staff, collections, facilities and grounds. - - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - - Delivers exceptional customer service experience to museum guests. Gains knowledge of art collection, museum activities and special events to effectively answer questions and direct guests. Observes and protects the art collection by patrolling assigned areas. Works closely with UR Public Safety and MAG Facilities Director to ensure safe and smooth operations. Reports unusual behavior and injuries to UR Public Safety Officer.
