Job Description

* The Security Officer is responsible for policing hospital facilities

* Providing security checks at front entrance, detaining and questioning

* Responds to fire alerts

* Ability to monitor Close Circuit TV

* Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather

Job Requirements

* Previous law enforcement experience preferred

* Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting

* High School Diploma or G.E.D.

* N.Y.S. Security Officer License, current 8 Hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate & initial 16 Hour on the Job Security Guard Training Certificate

* N.Y.S. Drivers License

* BCLS via American Heart Association

* Knowledge of CCTV and Radio
