Under general direction of the Security Captain, Associate will perform a wide range of Safety and Security duties providing a safe and secure environment. Provide minimal maintenance assistance. Exhibits the values of F. I. R. S. T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust) of Ephraim Mc. Dowell Health (EMH). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Security Officers must be able to respond to security concerns at all EMH premises requiring the operation of an EMH vehicle. Investigate incidents as they occur. Complete required forms and log. Provide escort services for Associates to Medical Center parking lots and parking garage. Promotes the EMH philosophy (AIDET) to ensure quality care. Covers the functions of minor maintenance during the hours when Maintenance Associates are not scheduled.
