As a Security Officer - Industrial Site Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and support a positive atmosphere. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $15.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
  • Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional security-related tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
