Atlantic Health System is seeking a Security Officer for the Security Department at Morristown Medical Center Days and Shift Hours may vary. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate must be able to work, first, second and third shifts, weekends and Holidays and over time as required. Shifts may be 8 or 12 hours in duration. Must be available for call back as required. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for at least 4 hours at a time. The candidate must be able to attend mandatory training sessions. Proficiency with computers is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with the department's computer system are essential. The selected candidate must be able to engage with patients, visitors, and staff.
