Security Officer - FTE .75 - Mayo Clinic : Job Details

Mayo Clinic Security Officers provide a professional level of customer service and security presence. A Security officer will proactively patrol Mayo Clinic property and security sensitive areas. Will assist visitors, patients and staff as need be and help prevent and deter fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, etc. May utilize security vehicle on a regular or occasional basis; enforces Mayo policies and responds to complaints and service calls for wrongdoing, prepares incident reports/activity logs, and may work in the Security control centers. A Security Officer adapts to unpredictable and stressful situations; manages altercations and emergency crises in an effective and professional manner; operates and communicates on a two-way radio; exhibits good judgment, maturity, initiative, tact and diplomacy when dealing with people in stressful situations.
