Performs productive/purposeful security patrols of the hospital, garage and perimeter. Recognizes conditions which are or will compromise the security of the organization and takes immediate actions to mitigate. Reports and/or corrects safety and security violations encountered during patrols. Takes proactive measures to mitigate thefts, disturbances, and other criminal incidents. Checks to ensure that visitors and team members are wearing proper identification badges/passes. Immediately notifies the supervisor of security/safety-related problems or issues. Adheres to post orders for all fixed and patrol positions. Proactively and consistently submits work orders to correct safety/security violation discovered during patrols Provides a timely and appropriate response to emergency calls for service. Ensures that the applicable policies, procedures, training and directives are followed according to the specifics of the emergency situation.
