As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate - Full Time in Katonah, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and communicate important information, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following site-specific guidelines and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
