Security Officer - 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 3-11pm) - Dana-Farber Cancer Institute : Job Details

Provides protection to people and property through patrol, investigation, monitoring alarms and surveillance cameras. Patrols buildings and grounds and identifies unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas/property to help prevent theft, injuries or damages. Provides a high level of customer service by interacting with patients, visitors and staff in a professional manner that is proactive, friendly and helpful. Creates safety awareness among the Institute community. Provides emergency response to a variety of situations and incidents. Conducts preliminary investigations into thefts, shortages and other complaints involving potential misconduct. Gathers, analyzes, evaluates, and utilizes facts and evidence. Interviews victims, complainants, witnesses, and suspects. Provides escorts for staff, visitors and patients as requested. Assists with potentially violent patients.
