Position Objective

Harvard Protection Services, a leading provider of security services in the United States, is seeking Customer Service Officers to support our mission of delivering top-tier security and life safety services. Our officers are responsible for maintaining a professional, customer-focused environment for the people and property they protect.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor while assisting customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence within the assigned facility or building.
• Monitor the environment for suspicious or unsafe activity.
• Become familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, and know the individuals involved.
• Greet and assist visitors, staff, tenants, and guests professionally.
• Answer questions and support guests and employees in a courteous manner.
• Answer all phones professionally.
• Control access to the property, monitor entrances and exits.
• Enforce facility policies and procedures.
• Perform patrols of designated areas on foot or vehicle.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Follow emergency procedures as established.
• Monitor alarms and security systems.
• Report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Note: Duties may vary based on the specific location.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• State or municipal security officer license.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Reliable communication and transportation.
• Ability to obtain a security guard license if not already licensed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Computer proficiency with security and communication devices.
• Ability to write reports and log entries.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Harvard Protection Services offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.00, along with health & welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K benefits.
