SECURITY GUARD - PART-TIME - Ozanam Hall : Job Details

Security GuardCome join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to fill the position of Security Guard - Part-Time.

• Day Shift (20 hours); Monday - Friday; 10am to 2pm; $21.50 per hour pay rate.
• Night Shift (32 hours on 4 days); Monday - Friday; Midnight to 8am; $23.50 per hour pay rate.

Security Guard Qualifications:

• Previous security experience preferred.
• MUST HAVE A NYS SECURITY LICENSE
• Excellent observations skills.
• Good interaction skills and ability to take charge and react appropriately in problem situations.

Security Guard Job Summary:

• Ensure safety of the facility by controlling access and prioritizing security.
• Be conscious of government guidelines and regulations.
• Be alert and have excellent observations skills, able to assess the conduct of people and identify dubious activity.
• Interact well with others and be able to take charge and deal with problem makers.
• Take swift and efficient action in during emergencies.
