Monitor entrances, exits, and outdoor areas to control access and ensure safety. Greet and verify visitors, parents, and vendors; enforce sign-in and ID policies. Conduct routine safety patrols of indoor and outdoor spaces, including playgrounds and parking areas. Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergencies following established safety protocols. Assist with safety drills (fire, lockdown, evacuation) and support staff during emergencies. Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents. Work closely with leadership and facilities staff to address safety concerns promptly. Help manage traffic flow and crowd control during peak pick-up and drop-off times. Stay up to date on safety regulations and procedures relevant to early childhood settings. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or safety training preferred.
