Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Engineer - Senior in Clarksburg, WV. Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and operations of secure cloud platforms, advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with enterprise and federal security standards. Acts as a subject matter expert and collaborates across teams and with external partners to protect mission-critical applications and infrastructure.

Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or GCIH are strongly preferred. Requirements include 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3+ years in a cloud security role, demonstrated experience in incident response, log correlation, and risk assessments, deep knowledge of cloud security across cloud environments, and expertise in security architecture, network defense, data protection, and threat modeling. Strong communication and leadership skills are also required; capable of briefing executives and managing cross-functional security efforts.
