Security Engineer - Rainmaker : Job Details

Design and implement security architecture for our operational platform, including auth/ RBAC systems and API security. Establish security standards for our edge computing network of ground stations and aircraft systems. Work closely with our R&D teams to build security into projects from the ground up. Build monitoring and incident response capabilities across cloud infrastructure and field deployments. Own core IT infrastructure including Google Workspace administration, device management, and access provisioning. Develop security policies and procedures appropriate for a rapidly scaling hardware/software company. Implement compliance frameworks for aviation, environmental, and data protection regulations. Secure our scientific data pipeline from collection through analysis and long-term storage. Create security training and awareness programs for engineers, operators, and field personnel.
