Security Analyst I - Thermo Fisher Scientific : Job Details

Monitor and triage internal threat activities using a variety of tools, technologies, and solutions. Consolidate critical findings, create detailed reports, and prepare presentations to review findings with key stakeholders. Develop use-cases to enhance detection and alerting capabilities. Respond to critical alerts and escalate issues to forensic examiners as necessary. Assist in creating metrics and key performance indicators. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and user documentation. Provide recommendations for process improvements to streamline incident handling, detection, and response procedures. Collaborate with other security and IT teams to maintain and enhance the teams security solutions and tools. Support Digital Forensics Examiners as needed. Education. Bachelors Degree in IT, Cyber Security or related field equivalent work experience acceptable. Cyber Security or Digital Forensic certifications a plus.
