SEC Reporting Manager

Location: Westchester, NY

Industry: Publicly Traded Firm

Reports to: Director, SEC

We've been exclusively retained by a high-growth, publicly traded company to find a SEC Reporting Manager. This is a visible, strategic role reporting directly to the Director of SEC. The environment is tight-knit, with under 75 people in the office, with a boutique feel and a supportive, high-performing culture. What You'll Do

As the SEC Reporting Manager, you'll be a key member of the GAAP Financial Reporting team. Your focus will be on quarterly and annual filings, technical accounting, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll also play a role in SOX initiatives, financial policy development, and audit interactions.

Core responsibilities include:

• Lead preparation of US GAAP disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accuracy and completeness of SEC disclosures
• Prepare bank and partner reports, quarterly flux analyses, and consolidation workbooks
• Draft and maintain accounting policies and technical memos
• Research and apply SEC/GAAP guidance as needed
• Support SOX process improvements and other special projects
• Oversee technical accounting entries and collaborate with international reporting teams

What We're Looking For

• CPA required
• 6+ years in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred) with SEC reporting experience
• Deep knowledge of ASC 842, ASC 718, ASC 815
• Strong command of US GAAP and technical research
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with MS Dynamics and Wdesk a plus
• Proven ability to manage reporting processes and support process improvement initiatives
