Hours 40 hours per week from October 1 to December 31 Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm; evenings & weekends as needed Must be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed, hours of operation may vary. Job Summary Under the supervision of the Social Services Director, the Seasonal Social Services Assistant will assist with coordinating and implementing the Christmas Assistance programs. Job duties may include conducting face to face and phone interviews, data entry, volunteer coordination, and sorting items. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as strong computer literacy. Spanish proficiency is a plus. Key Areas of Responsibility Familiarity with The Salvation Armys Social Services in general and Christmas Assistance programs specifically. Assist clients with Christmas Assistance applications.
