Seasonal Reach Truck/Order Picker Operator - Second shift - Michaels : Job Details

Utilizes manual and/or powered industrial equipment to load and unload inventory. Utilizes material handling equipment (reach truck and/or order picker/cherry picker) to fulfill shipping and receiving orders. Completes periodic safety training on the operation of machinery. Performs routine inspections of equipment and notifies leader of maintenance needs. May perform one or more of a variety of functions in a Distribution Center environment associated with fulfilling orders for retail stores and/or other Distribution Centers. Potential work assignments include Receiving, Labeling, Putaway, Order Picking, Slotting, Replenishment, e. Comm order fulfillment, Hybrid throwing, Loading, and other specialty roles that require additional training/experience (e.g., Inventory Control). Documents production log appropriately to include changes in assignments, downtime, meetings, etc. to ensure productivity records are accurate.
