Seasonal Groundskeeper

Location: Mt Olivet Cemetery - Wheat Ridge, CO

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00am- 3:30pm (schedule dependent on weather, holidays, etc.)

Pay: $19.75 an hour

Dress: Uniform and coat provided

REQUIRED

• Must be at least 18yrs. old for Insurance requirements

• Driver's License

• Background Check

• Approximately 6 Months

Filling the Void of Loss with Faith

THE POSITION: The seasonal groundskeeper reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with the Irrigation Superintendent to efficiently perform all grounds keeping and maintenance to include tamp graves, lay sod, hand water and clean up. The duties of the groundskeeper must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures and in doing so uphold the social teachings of the Catholic Church (the Church).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• General cleaning and upkeep of cemetery grounds

• Ditch and grounds cleaning

• Distribute prayer cards to guests

• Observe safety rules and ensure compliance with the operating procedures of corporate, federal, state and local regulations, including OSHA regulations

• Work order completion

• Snow removal and the removal of ice from the grounds as needed

• Help identify grounds and visitor needs and concerns and notify a supervisor as soon as possible

• Be able to collaborate with the 3rd party landscaping company designated onsite

• Ability to recognize sensitive information and adhere to strict confidentiality

• Any other duties assigned by your supervisor
