Day to Day as a Communication System TesterAs a Seasonal Communication System Tester with Central Virginia Electric Cooperative, your role will involve two different roles. A portion of your time will involve driving a company vehicle throughout our expansive territory to test the functionality of cutting edge communication equipment. This will require you to navigate various locations, ensuring our systems function optimally and efficiently. You will also work in an office environment monitoring the communication testing vehicle's location and the quality of communication signal between you and the driver as they navigate our service territory and test the system. You'll actively contribute to the reliability of our communication infrastructure, essential for delivering electricity to our community. Your work will not only enhance your understanding of technology but also support the vital services we provide to our members across CVEC's service area.
What Matters MostTo excel as a Seasonal Communication System Tester at Central Virginia Electric Cooperative, candidates must possess a valid driver's license, as driving throughout CVEC territory is a key aspect of the role.
