Role: Scrum Master

Location: Hartford, CT (Hybird weekly 1)

Project : Migration project

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Cross-Team Dependencies - Work with infrastructure, DBAs, and legacy system owners to align timelines and technical handoffs.
• Track Readiness and Cutover Activities - Assist with planning and sprint execution related to data mapping, validation, and cutover timelines.
• Ensure Sprint Goals Align with Migration Milestones - Synchronize sprint planning with key phases of the migration (e.g., discovery, mock migration, go-live).
• Facilitate Backlog Grooming for Migration Tasks - Help the Product Owner prioritize and break down large migration epics into actionable user stories.
• Risk and Issue Management - Identify potential risks in the migration (e.g., data loss, downtime) and escalate issues early.
• Support Testing and Validation Sprints - Coordinate QA, UAT, and data validation activities with the migration and business teams.
• Document Lessons Learned & Retrospectives - Capture insights from migration sprints to improve future iterations or cutovers.

• Facilitated agile ceremonies for a cross-functional team migrating legacy applications to the cloud.
• Worked with technical leads and product owners to translate migration phases into agile deliverables.
• Managed sprint cadences while aligning to go-live schedules and business blackout windows.
• Supported regression testing, environment validation, and post-migration hypercare via sprint planning.
• Coached developers and analysts on agile best practices during complex ETL and data transformation efforts.
