Scrum Master - Prosum : Job Details

Role: Scrum Master - Agile Project Manager (Contract) Location: Hybrid - Candidate must reside in Colorado Duration: 6 Months (08/11/2025 - 02/28/2026) Pay Rate: $45-$70/hr (W2) Overview: A government agency in Colorado is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to support ongoing technology modernization and agile transformation initiatives. This person will play a key role in leading planning efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving forward agile best practices and project delivery. The role requires onsite work 2-3 days per week; flexibility is essential as hybrid arrangements may evolve. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead agile planning and project execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines
• Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
• Collaborate with product owners and technical teams to define project scope, priorities, and deliverables
• Manage project budgets, risk, and communications
• Guide teams through agile ceremonies and continuous improvement cycles
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and synthesize customer needs and translate into actionable tasks
• Ensure consistent communication with internal teams and leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience managing Agile projects using tools like Jira and Confluence (required)
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Proven track record in agile delivery, backlog management, and team coaching
• Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and decision-making abilities
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (preferred)
• Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) strongly preferred
