Leading the project

• Drive the design and full sign off - challenge the status quo, understanding the future, remove customisation, simplify, and standardise.
• Drive Testing and ensure deep quality of testing from all the team, final sign off of quality of tests and issue resolution.
• Drive the training and ensure everyone is fully learning, measure success, identify people knowledge and capability gaps and execute plans with HR to address them.
• Drive the ongoing maintenance of data quality, build processes, and put them in place long term to maintain the quality and accuracy of data. Effectively drive consequence to not maintain accurately and maintain a culture of NO WORKAROUNDS
• Lock step with the internal company separation / new legal entity project team
• Drive the implementation partner and project team, to deliver a quality and complete project for Smithville - hold them accountable to resolve issues and avoid any gaps
• Senior Leader in the plant with knowledge of overall processes, business outlooks and future projects and has long term relationships with Key Users and management team.
• Point of contact in the plant for all implementation team members, external and internal.
• Manages local implementation team in all phases assuring site resources for testing, go-live, hyper care.
• Is on-site cutover lead managing with Plant Manager and OCM leader all communication to stakeholders and resource allocation
• Will be assisted in project management by a senior SME

Prepare readiness for the plant

• Implement plans to build inventory in readiness for go live.
• Communication with suppliers and customers
• Lock step with plant leaders on vacation planning and availability of key players.

Management of the project locally

• Run workstreams - identified owners, drive to execute the plans.
• Hold workstream leader meetings, full integration identified and no gaps.
• Hold local steer cos
• Sit on plant leadership meetings - ensure the project is number 1 priority in the plant and use it to its full advantage.
