Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Blu Omega is looking for a Scientific Cloud Solutions Consultant to work on a self-paced, interactive, cloud-based training program designed to remove barriers to cloud adoption by providing no-cost, customized, and scientifically relevant training, making it easier for researchers to learn about and explore the cloud with confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in the creation of resources to guide the scientific communities' use of cloud.
• Work closely with the internal team to understand the needs of the intramural and extramural communities regarding how cloud technologies can support research and draft tutorial materials.
• Develop use cases that can be leveraged by researchers.

Qualifications:

• Experience with and understanding of cloud computing and cloud service providers (i.e., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Background in data science
• Experience in health and life sciences consulting supporting the U.S. Government
• Ability and willingness to lead ambiguous asks
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks and establish priorities
• Proven experience in facilitation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree

Nice to Haves:

• Ability to partner cross-organizationally and drive cloud adoption.
• Experience providing recommendations and support in the development and implementation of AI models and applications in cloud environments
• Active Public Trust or security clearance

Salary Range: $120K - $130K

Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
