The candidate will be working closely with a team of experts to advance our therapeutics and to drive our understanding of selective delivery of siRNA.Key ResponsibilitiesSynthesis of oligonucleotides, purification characterization by using appropriate analytical techniques.Synthesis of oligonucleotides conjugates.Phosphoramidite and other reagent inventory managementApply automation or collaborate with an automation expert to improve efficiencyQualificationsBS/MS in Chemistry/ Biochemistry with prior oligonucleotides synthesis experience.Broad experience in analytical techniques for oligonucleotides (ASOs and siRNAs), various oligonucleotides conjugates, including, but not limited to, HPLC-UV/Fluorescence/MS.Skilled with different analytical techniques, HPLC, LC-MS etc.Experience with automated liquid handling/assay automation desirableExcellent written and oral communication skills required.Location: Onsite role San Diego, CAPay Rate: $45 - $50/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)Contract: 6-monthHealth, dental, vision, 401kWhy Novartis:Helping people with disease and their families takes more than innovative science.
