To serve as professional liaison between school and home for pupils having school-related problems. Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university New Jersey Certificate as a School Social Worker Three years' in Teaching and/or Clinical experience and/or M. S. W. Autism/ ABA, Life Skills (MD), ED/ BD experience helpful Required criminal history background check, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. (CURRENT EMPLOYEES EXEMPT) Performance of Duties: 1. To assist in the evaluation of children identified as potentially handicapped in accordance with state and federal regulations. 2. To serve as a member of the Child Study Team in working with the parents of referred children. 3. To confer with parents regarding problems affecting student behavior, progress and development. 4.
