Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

  • Provide direct instruction in academic content and language development

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field

  • Valid Georgia teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (or ability to obtain)

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred

  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Contract Details

  • Length: 43 weeks

  • Compensation: Up to $2,362.50/week or $63/hour based on experience
