A School Registered Nurse position is available for a K-12 school setting in Poughkeepsie, NY. This contract role focuses on providing nursing care and support during school hours with an emphasis on student health and safety.Responsibilities

• Monitor and support students with seizure disorders and other medical needs
• Administer first aid, medications, and health assessments as required
• Maintain health records and communicate with school staff and families
• Ensure safe transport of students via bus, including AM departure at 6:30 AM and return by 8:45 AM; PM departure at 1:15 PM and return by 4:00 PM

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Ability to manage seizure monitoring and emergency care calmly and effectively
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for designated bus schedule

Location: Poughkeepsie, NYHours: 25 hours per week, school year contractThis position offers a competitive pay rate of $50 per hour.
