$75k - $77kJoin a Team Where your Work Truly Makes a Difference.At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services.The School Psychologist for the Catholic Charities mental health initiative collaborates with all members of the assigned catholic schools and the Cardinal McCloskey Charter School. Collaborates with the treatment team, especially classroom teachers, to share observation and assessment results and interpretations as they pertain to each child's emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning with the purpose of creating an integrated treatment approach. Collaboration includes communication with families and referral sources about each child's particular strengths, weaknesses, and needs. Participation, when needed, in the Committee on Special Education process, as well as participation in the development and implementation of research projects is expected. The School Psychologist will be integral in providing individual counseling to those children that do not have mandated services and are in need.Requirements

• Master's Degree in School Psychologist with Current Certification as a NY State School Psychologist.
• Experience with children with trauma histories.
• Experience with classroom-wide evidence-based treatments.
