This opportunity seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students from November through the end of the school year. Serving various school sites within the Murrieta, CA area, this contract role offers 7.5 hours per day to provide valuable therapy interventions that enhance students functional abilities and academic success.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students across multiple school locations, addressing individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and document outcomes in accordance with district and state guidelines.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of children in a school setting.
  • Support classroom environments by recommending adaptive equipment and strategies that promote student engagement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification appropriate for school-based practice.
  • Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings.
