School Nurse (RN) - Tandym Group : Job Details

An education system in Westchester County is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their facilities in Yonkers as a School Nurse. About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 3:30pm
• Patient Population: Elementary, Middle & High School age

• Maintain accurate record keeping and IEP/IFSP goal tracking documentation as required by SED/EI and ESCS policies for quality assurance and accountability purposes
• Perform nursing assessments and provide treatments and nursing care as required
• Respond to and participate in resolving emergency medical situations
• Attend daily clinical status meeting as required

• 2+ years of experience working with Children
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BCLS certification

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Pediatric Nurse certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center
• Experience working with multiple handicapped and/or medically involved children
