Posting # 26-035 VACANCY NOTICE DATE: August 27, 2025 POSITION TITLE: School Monitor (3 positions) ASSIGNMENT: Mexico Middle School CERTIFICATION: Civil Service - Labor Class START DATE: September 2025 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from high school or equivalency diploma
• Ability to follow oral and written directions

PRIMARY WORK ACTIVITIES:

• Supervise recreation, meal periods, bathrooms, hallways, and study halls;
• Guide children safely across street;
• Assist students with small tasks;
• Maintain order in gymnasiums, locker rooms;
• Oversee students passing between classes and on premises before and after school, check passes;

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Full-time, probationary appointment
• 10-month position
• Salary and benefits per CSEA contract
• 7:25AM - 2:55PM (Hours may vary based on supervision needs)
