Job DescriptionMake a Difference In a One-of-a-kind Learning Environment... HFM BOCES is accepting applications for a School Monitor at our P-Tech High School in Johnstown. Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can support motivated high school students earning their associate degrees while still in high school? Join the HFM PTECH team as a School Monitor and help shape the future of tomorrow's leaders-today. The School Monitor Position is a 10-month, labor-class, civil service position with additional work available over the summer. The School Monitors will work with Teachers, School Safety Officers and School Administration to create and support an environment where all students feel that they are welcome, they belong, and they are supported. By fostering positive relationships with students, staff and families, through active communication and strong collaboration, the School Monitors will be a part of a team that works to implement and maintain our district-wide and school safety plans with fidelity.

• Supervise and support upperclassmen students in the FMCC Student Union and other campus areas
• Foster a safe, respectful, and productive environment for early college learners
• Help students navigate college life-whether it's finding a classroom or managing their time
• Be a trusted adult presence and role model on a college campus
