• Provides emotional, social, and academic counseling, eases school transitions, monitors academic success, and makes referrals to specialized services when needed.
• Acts as a liaison among teachers, parents, administrators, and students, facilitates conferences, maintains records, and coordinates with special services for student placement and support.
• Offers career guidance, assists with course selection and post-high school planning, conducts group sessions, and provides resources on jobs and future opportunities.

Qualifications

Completion of School Counseling program coursework and any university specific requirements for an internship during the 2025-2026 school year
