• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services (individual/group) and consultative support to teachers and staff.
• Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and parents to integrate speech-language goals into students' academic plans.
• Recommend and train staff on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support.
• Stay updated on evidence-based practices in school-based speech-language pathology.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
• Active Illinois SLP License (or proof of pending licensure).
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows considered with supervision).
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in school settings is a plus but not required.
