This position supports the work of The Y, a leading non-profit charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The YMCA focuses on empowering people in all forms, by improving health and well-being and inspiring action in and across our neighborhoods. If hired, you will lead program operations including, but not limited to, supervision of 5 public school base sites before/after school programs with a single school base site for summer day camp. Requirements Qualifications:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) with at least two years of professional experience in childcare or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and motivate staff teams.
- Meets or exceeds YMCA Child Care Director qualifications.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team of site directors.
- Skilled relationship-builder who can unite and inspire others to strengthen the community.
- Positive, service-minded attitude with a commitment to excellence in program delivery.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and familiar with social media communication tools.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating partnerships and donor relationships.
Essential Functions:
- Provide visionary leadership and oversight to school-age sites and summer camps, ensuring quality, safety, and program growth.
- Ensure consistent implementation of enriching curriculum that supports holistic development-Spirit, Mind, and Body-at every site.
- Effectively communicate Youth Development vision and goals to staff, families, and community partners.
- Develop and maintain safety systems to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.
- Develop, manage, and monitor program budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
- Lead monthly site director meetings, incorporating team-building and professional development.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff; oversee staff scheduling and payroll approvals with accuracy and efficiency.

Salary Description $45,000 - $49,000
