SCHEDULING COORDINATOR OR - H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute : Job Details

The Scheduling Coordinator OR for Perioperative Services functions as a facilitator for written and verbal communications regarding scheduling of patient surgical procedures in the Operating Room. Serves as the primary resource for physicians and clinic schedulers to ensure patient s surgical procedures, both inpatient and outpatient, are accurately scheduled in a timely manner. Collaborates with anesthesia providers, medical doctors, RN s, APP s, and physician office schedulers to assure the correct procedure, necessary instrumentation and equipment is requested to ensure a thorough and accurate procedure scheduling. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Associates Degree or some college Two (2) years of scheduling experience or prior medical experience as a scheduler in a hospital/clinic with complex scheduling algorithms Prior oncology-related scheduling experience and scheduling experience at Moffitt Excellent verbal communication and organ...Scheduling, Coordinator, Healthcare, Business Services, Patient, Skills, Medical
