Scheduler - Valley Telephone : Job Details

SUMMARY The scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing daily scheduling operations for field technicians. This role ensures efficient appointment booking, route optimization, and timely communication with customers and internal teams to support the delivery of internet services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Perform outbound calls to schedule installs with the customer and provide necessary information.
• Assist tech support, sales, and billing with scheduling questions and customers' concerns.
• Assist installers with directions, maps, customer numbers, and/or residential descriptions as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinates with the customer service department to provide the installation department with pick-up or new install information.
• Check jobs that are completed daily for billable charges or updates that need to be sent to the customer service department.
• Timely response to emails, voicemails, company phone-related text messaging or other known company correspondence.
• Monitor technician availability and optimize daily schedules to reduce travel time and increase efficiency.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, address scheduling changes, and provide updates.
• Update daily job reports with current data.
• Monitor and follow up on support tickets daily.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a valid Driver's License and insurable record. Must pass pre-employment screen, physical and background checks. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellence in conveying ideas, both in speech and writing. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. Efficient in team collaboration and performance. Proficient with software technology.
