We strive to hire excellent people at Concordia - and keep them as well! Concordia-IRMC VNA is seeking a full-time Clinical Scheduler for our busy home health division. The VNA has been a well-established Home Health provider in Indiana County and its surrounding service area for more than 50 years. The VNA offers a very competitive wage and benefit package. The Clinical Scheduler is responsible for working with the clinical field staff to schedule home care visits. The Clinical Scheduler assists in the daily operations of the agency's on-going scheduling functions. The Scheduler creates new daily/weekly schedules for staff, verifies schedules provided by clinicians with computer-generated schedules and makes changes accordingly. QUALIFICATIONS for the Clinical Scheduler position:
- Current valid Pennsylvania license
- Exhibits strong organizational skills with attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills.Evidence of leadership activities
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily workload
- Reliable, independent means of transportation. Driver must have valid driver's license with car insurance at the limits established by state law
- Experienced with computers: Word and Excel spreadsheets
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Clinical Scheduler position:
- Assists in day-to-day operations of the scheduling team.
- Works with the Clinical Team to assure continuous compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, including Medicare Conditions of Participation and state licensure.
- Applies problem solving abilities to specific organization/clinical complex patients.
- Ensures that all schedules are completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with Clinical Management in order to assure sound clinical practices in conjunction with sound business practices are followed to meet the needs of the agency.
