Job Description Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan's 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of Scheduler for a 12 Month + Contract opportunity. DUTIES:
- Establish and execute a daily plan for the work; may include organizing and dispatching assignments, facilitating meetings, short-range forecasting, etc.
- Communicate effectively in line with supported business unit processes/procedures; may include interacting with supervision, field operations, or other operational supporting groups.
- Utilize various systems to monitor work, create/submit orders, and requests, observe data and make scheduling adjustments as necessary. Some roles may require a deeper dive into data review to make appropriate modifications.
- Support emergent matters in line with the business units' processes/procedures; may include escalations, volume monitoring, etc.
- Perform business unit specific tasks as needed; may include various reporting and taking appropriate action.
- Performs other related duties as required.
