Program Scheduler

We are seeking a skilled Program Scheduler to perform all scheduling functions including the preparation, maintenance, and update of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines. The scheduler will be responsible for documenting and tracking all actions required for events and milestone reviews, ensuring a reliable and valid schedule in line with global standards set by the Program Management Institute (PMI).

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, maintain, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with DoD guidelines.
  • Document and track all actions required for events and milestone reviews.
  • Provide a reliable, valid schedule using PMI guidelines for best scheduling practices.
  • Apply management analysis techniques regarding cost, schedule, risk assessment, and scenario planning.
  • Develop, integrate, and synchronize schedules for major design upgrades and program contractor efforts.
  • Coordinate multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of efforts.
  • Present schedules in both detailed and high-level resolution formats to leadership.
  • Assist product/project teams by developing and presenting task-oriented activities in a comprehensive IMS.
  • Maintain and update the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and IMS, ensuring schedules are complete and correctly documented.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as program scheduler, master scheduler, or project planner.
  • Experience maintaining and developing project schedules for the DoD.
  • Proficiency with project management/scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, KIDASA Milestone Professional, and Monte Carlo simulation tools.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with military acquisition programs or ground combat vehicle systems.
  • Just in time procurement experience.
  • Degree in Project Management, Business Management, or Business Administration.
  • Strong listening skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
Work Environment

This position is located at a purpose-built facility in Sterling Heights, MI, which includes office space, conference rooms, an engineering lab, and a vehicle high bay integration space. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with flexible scheduling options available. The role currently follows a hybrid work model but may transition to fully onsite in the future.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
