Scheduler - Homewood Retirement Centers : Job Details

Ensures adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget/census. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Treats all information about residents, their condition, and family as confidential information. Complies with established Corporate and Departmental policies and procedures, and maintains established standards and practices. Responsible for review of 24-hour staffing schedule to ensure optimum level of staff per shift in accordance with Homewood policies, needs and requirements. Ensures the accuracy of staffing schedules with timely adjustments of changes and makes the schedule available to co-workers. Completes monthly nursing schedules coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage. Maintains daily attendance records. Assists co-workers in accurate completion of forms (i.e., leave and day off requests, time records, etc.) pertinent to scheduling and staffing.
