FPT is a wholly-owned business of Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Scale Operator on 1st Shift at FPT Lonyo location in Detroit, MI. The Scale Operator is responsible for weighing all inbound and outbound vehicles, inspecting loose loads, directing them to proper unloading areas, and assisting in the details of purchases. Summary of Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to safety standards including use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), remove hazards as identified, and maintain cleanliness of the site. Accurately inspect all materials ensuring correct weights, materials description, and grade for all inbound and outbound loads.
