They must be able to assist in the construction, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures used in industrial, commercial, and construction settings. Also, must be able to support scaffold builders by preparing materials, ensuring safety compliance, and performing physical tasks under supervision.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:* Assist scaffold builders in setting up, assembling, and installing scaffolding systems.* Handle and prepare materials like pipe fittings, bolts, valves, and metal components.* Operate tools such as beveling machines, grinders, torches, magnetic drills, welding machines, and Saw-Zalls.* Clean work areas and restock supplies.* Follow safety protocols and participate in daily safety meetings.* Transport scaffold materials to and from job sites.* Assist in assembling and dismantling scaffolding systems according to blueprints or instructions.* Secure scaffolding to permanent structures using brackets or anchor bolts.* Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear.* Work collaboratively with scaffold builders and other tradespeople.* Adapt scaffold designs to fit site-specific needs.Physical Demands:* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.* Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.* The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.* The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Qualifications:* Experience - Prior experience in construction or scaffoldingRequirements:* High school diploma or equivalent* Valid Driver's License* Meet physical demands as listed above* Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed by the assigned location* Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or instructions.* Familiarity with hand and power tools.* Applicants must be legally able to work for ANY employer in the United States.
