SCADA Technical Support Specialist - Selectek : Job Details

We have an opening for a SCADA Support Specialist in the Tucker, GA area.ÂJob Duties:Provides technical support to all System Control Centers and commissioning agents (i.e. Technicians and Test Engineers) that install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair components in distribution, generation, and transmission type facilities. Also, possesses a working knowledge of databases and networking technologies. Assists in completing EM projectsAssist the commissioning agent in the operation and maintenance of the Energy Control System, including the Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Data Concentrators, Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) that provide analogs, controls, and status inputs to the Energy Management System. Familiarity with GE D20, SEL-RTAC RTUsAssist the EM Metering Engineer(s) in the operation and maintenance of the revenue metering system.Required:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and/or Computer Engineering.Understanding of SCADA and how to operate and troubleshoot - understanding of metering and power1-3 years of experience in a utility environment utilizing skills associated with communications protocol between IEDs.DNP3.0 (must) and Modbus (is a plus) communication protocolsPay:  $50-$70/hr.Location:  Tucker, GADuration:  12+ monthsIf you are interested or would like more information on this position, please click the apply button or contact me directly at:[email protected] or call me at (678) ###-####Â
