We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Manager with expertise in Ignition, WonderWare, and GeoSCADA systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, sales, and consulting experience, along with exceptional communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SCADA systems utilizing Ignition, WonderWare, and GeoSCADA, ensuring they meet operational requirements and industry standards.
  • Leverage SCADA expertise to support sales initiatives and provide consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations that drive business value.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand the needs, present solutions, and ensure satisfaction with SCADA solutions, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with Control Room, IT, Power ROC, and operations team to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems with existing infrastructure and processes, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to internal teams and clients, ensuring users are proficient in SCADA functionalities and best practices.
  • Lead SCADA projects from conception to execution, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality results.
  • Analyze SCADA data to identify trends and insights, providing recommendations for operational improvements and strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, project plans, and compliance with industry regulations, ensuring all processes are transparent and accessible.

  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work, from system configurations to project documentation.
  • Eager to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SCADA and automation.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Significant experience with SCADA systems, specifically, Ignition, WonderWare, and GeoSCADA
  • Proven experience in sales or consulting roles, with a strong understanding of how SCADA solutions can drive business value and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in SCADA software and related technologies, with a solid understanding of system integration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly work within an office environment and is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

This position will work a hybrid schedule of 2 to 3 days in our Ellington office location.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
