Job Description SBI Caseworker II Outreach Coordinator and service facilitator for vulnerable populations Principal Duties:
  • Conduct assessments
  • Develop and implement service plans based on assessments
  • Make appropriate community referrals based on individual needs
  • Build relationships with various community partners and stakeholders to facilitate efficient service delivery
  • Utilize psycho-educational interventions and motivational interviewing techniques to encourage program engagement
  • Have knowledge of psychological, mental health, and social factors that may contribute to the client's situation
  • Collaborate with law enforcement on program development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement

  • Position will require several hours of in-person outreach time in various areas around the state. Applicants must be comfortable working outside in variable conditions at least 10 hours per week, alongside law enforcement agents.
Education: Current SSW, MSW, or recent SSW, MSW graduates. SSW and MSW licensure supervision available, internship field supervision also available. Supplemental Information
  • A thorough background investigation is part of the hiring process for this position. The background check includes an investigation of criminal activity, illegal drug use, detailed employment, reference, credit, and education, etc. Fingerprints are also required upon hire.
  • Position includes collaboration with a law enforcement community engagement team, with at least 10 hours per week conducting street outreach alongside agents working with the homeless.
  • Some walking and being outside in seasonal weather is required.
