Job Description We are seeking a Data Systems Specialist with the following responsibilities: Designing, creating, and analyzing programs, processes, and procedures to extract, transform, integrate, and load data into data systems using SAS. Logical modeling related to databases and data systems. Maintaining and supporting enterprise data systems. Applying knowledge of enterprise data architecture principles. Expertise in data system platforms, database programming languages (specifically SAS), and tools. Understanding logical modeling, distributed systems, IT architecture, and infrastructure standards. Following industry best practices for design and deployment. Applying standards in physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security. Developing data requirements and configuring database parameters accordingly. Implementing Data Warehouse modeling skills (e.g., star schema datamarts, summary tables). Demonstrating expertise in SAS. Staying informed about emerging technologies and trends impacting the field and business. Communicating effectively to convey credibility and confidence, making complex ideas understandable. Overcoming technical or people obstacles, resolving customer issues, and exceeding expectations.
