Rate Range: $70-95/hr

York is hiring! We are currently seeking an SAP RTR Architect that meets the below requirements for a contract to hire opportunity with a client in the pharmaceutical industry.

The position works out of our Lake Forest, IL, location. As the SAP Domain Architect Record to Report, you will work with stakeholders to build a holistic view of the organization's SAP strategy processes, identify the required capabilities, and define the short-term and long-term strategy and implementation plans necessary to achieve the long-term strategic objectives. The Domain Architect will develop and own the client's SAP blueprint/roadmap, partnering with the Global Process Owner for their domain globally.

The Domain Architect will oversee and directly contribute to developing and implementing cost-effective solutions for various-size projects, coaching functional architects on SAP architecture and business capability-driven methodology, and creating the global SAP architecture governance and processes for managing the SAP domain solutions and capability portfolio.

The role is also responsible for defining roadmaps for application improvements, additional functionalities, leveraging best practices, and benchmarking. The domain architect will collaborate closely with global process owners to identify opportunities to improve the divisional SAP template (global) and add functionalities that have not been adequately explored and used today.

• Develop, review, and maintain the SAP architecture roadmap and strategy to ensure adequacy and concurrency. (Bring benchmarking and best practices.)
• Manage and lead the design and implementation of complex SAP solutions and projects across various functional areas.
• Deliver critical programs across the SAP roadmap: Effectively manage the functional and technical team, providing oversight to deliver on strategic engagements and program deliverables, ensuring the team has against its commitments with the highest quality in a timely fashion.
• Create and own appropriate business-aligned implementation plans, timelines, milestones, etc.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules and components with existing systems and third-party applications.
• Manage Core SAP, connected applications projects, and interfaces or middleware integration.
• Set and enforce global architecture standards for global ERP solutions.
• Provide expert guidance and leadership in SAP-related technical matters to internal teams and external partners.
• Develop, motivate, and direct the functional team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

• Have an accredited bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or related specialization.
• 10+ years combined experience in Finance and Information Technology, including:
• SAP Financial Accounting (New GL/AR/AP/Banking)
• SAP Controlling (CC/IO/COPA/CO-PC)
• SAP FSCM Management (Credit Management/Collection Management/Dispute Management/ BCM)
• HFM Consolidation
• General Accounting / Record to Report, Financial Reporting
• Integration knowledge with Sales and Distribution, Material Management, Manufacturing
• Previous supervisor or leadership role
• Experience working in a highly validated system environment.
• Experience and knowledge in integrating SAP with non-SAP systems, including internally developed and 3rd Party Applications.
• Experience with all aspects of system implementation, including gathering requirements, designing future solutions, testing, change management, and post-implementation support.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining SAP solutions for end-to-end financial processes under cross-functional scenarios such as Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Revenue Accounting, etc.
• Ability to navigate across finance, business, and technical organizations.

• SAP S/4 HANA migration experience preferred.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Proficient in SLC documentation related to system validation.
• Test automation experience with Tosca.
• Master's Degree is Preferred in a similar area of expertise.
