SAP Product Costing and Controlling Consultant - Accenture : Job Details

We are looking for a talented SAP Product Costing and Controlling Consultant to join our Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs), where innovation meets expertise. Our ATCs, with over 255,000 professionals across 24 countries, are dedicated to solving complex business challenges and driving transformation for our clients.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of crucial S/4HANA Controlling components, including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Margin Analysis, and Overhead Accounting.
• Translate intricate business needs into comprehensive solution designs and functional specifications utilizing S/4HANA capabilities such as Universal Journal and Margin Analysis.
• Engage with client subject matter experts and business leaders through design workshops to finalize designs that meet their requirements.
• Configure controlling structures and manage cost flows in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring end-to-end process integrity across Finance, Manufacturing, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash.
• Oversee unit testing and support integration and UAT cycles, resolving functional defects to maintain cost flow accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Prepare and verify data loads for master and transactional data related to controlling objects.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and test scenarios for your solution areas.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work, proactively addressing risks and dependencies with the overall R2R Lead as necessary.

This is a hybrid position based in Nashville, TN, requiring three days per week in the office. We may also consider qualified candidates in Houston, TX.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of SAP Controlling and Product Costing experience, including one full cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years). A candidate with an Associate Degree must possess at least six years of work experience.

Bonus Skills:

• Deep knowledge of standard and actual costing, material ledger, cost object controlling, account-based CO-PA, and overhead cost accounting.
• Experience with Fiori apps and strong configuration skills in SAP.
• Proven capability to independently deliver solution components while collaborating with the broader Record to Report and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent documentation, testing, and communication skills, with a comfort level in client-facing roles under tight deadlines.
